1977 BMW 530i how do I change my oil?

i have never changed the oil on this kind of car or used this kind of filter. I have the filter but have no idea how to change it.

Old school baby! The cartridge filter has a bolt on the bottom of the cartridge that is removed and it then makes a big mess by spilling dirty oil all over the side of the pan, BE PREPARED. Have a big enough catch pan to get under it with and then of course you will pull the oil pan plug and dispose of the oil in the engine. Install your cartridge filter and pour six qts. Of liquid dinosaur into the engine, start the engine and check for leaks.
