my cruise control isn't working. After replacing the right rear ABS sensor, still have the problem. BMW shop tell me the ABS module, $700, needs replacing. Anything I can try except that?

The unit is called a repair kit and what they are telling you is most likely correct. The problem often manifests itself in a fault for wheel speed sensors and that is an indicator of a faulty DSC control module. $700 is what the unit costs, it also needs to be coded to the car.
