I have a 1998 528I that has some issue with A/C. First it does not blow cold air with the system set for A/c, second the auxiliary cooling fan never comes on. So far I have replaced the auxiliary cooling fan with a new one, checked the voltage at the fan connector and found 12 VDC, checked the pressure of 134a on suction(low) side found about 35 psi(normal charge), the compressor is running, the vent inside is blowing normal air (not cold at all), high side refrigerant line is getting hot(as normal operation) when the a/c is on. I dont know what else to do or check. My primary concern is to get the auxiliary cooling fan running! I need help to figure this thing out! Your input is really appreciated.

THanks

Get the entire car systems scanned with the proprietary software from someone in your locale and repost. You aren't going to fix this by just throwing parts at it, these cars are too sophisticated for that method.

What do you suggest? What you mean by getting the entire car scanned? There is no issue with electrical or car's system. Where can I go other than the dealer(stealer) to get this done?

The dealer would be one place to go. Also the independent shops that work on BMW have had to get on board with the software in order to keep up with the times. Try calling around and ask if they have Auto logic software or a GT-1 from BMW and schedule an appointment.
