Transmission problem
1998 BMW 528 Four Wheel Drive Automatic
I just got this bmw in January. It does have over 200,000 miles on it. But after I purchased it, slowly started braking down on me. First it had oil leaks and then it broke because of that. Then it broke because of something with the radiator and it was dripping fluids again, this time coolant. A week after that repair it breaks down on me again. I turn the car on and after 2 minutes in idle it makes a continous thud sound coming from the front right. Ive been told its the transmission going out. Its really loud in reverse and still drives but makes a thud thud thud constantly. How much is this going to cost to get a transmission repair?? if it is even the transmission making that loud thud.
