Radio trouble shoot codes
1990 BMW 525i 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 63,300 miles
i turn on my radio, and sometimes it works, and sometimes it does not, but a "1" code appears in the radio screen, where the radio station info is displayed. please let me know what the "1" code means and all the other possible codes mean, thanks jes

It will cost you more to repair the BMW radio than it is worth, this is my opinion. The original radio has been eclipsed in almost every feature by modern equipment, consider replacement instead of repair.
