1985 BMW 525i Over heats and steams

My BMW overheats when I drive fast and steam comes out between the expansion tank and the metal radiator where they connect

Hi there,

This leak will have to be identified and repaired ASAP as if you continue to drive in this manner you will do serious damage to your engine, go get a mechanic to do a cooling system pressure test as this will positively identify the exact point where the leak is, be it a hose or a radiator problem.
