1993 BMW 525 starting

The car will not start. The battery and starter crank very well. The only way to start it is to disconnect the battery cables and reconnect them. The car will drive for 5-10 minutes and stall out. The computer and the mass air sensor were changed but did not work. Two mechanics could not find the problem. We need help desperately.

Your request is for assistance on a 1993 BMW 525i V8. I am confused. 1993 BMW 525i is not a V-8 configuration. It is an inline six cylinder. Are we referencing to the same car?
