Electrical problem

My car is losing all electrical power while im driving. Ive gotten the battery and alternator checked and they are working fine. When the car goes out it loses all electrical power to everything, i cant even turn the key and get any kind of reaction. what else could be causeing the problem?

The problem might be the fusible link next to the battery that feeds the rear E-box has shattered due to age and will require replacement. If the battery is under the hood, follow the positive battery cable, there should be two, one large and one small, follow the small one, and there is a black plastic cigar shaped container than houses the link. It is an 80 amp fusible link and can be replaced. If the battery is under the rear seat, the same search method applies, follow the small cable and the link is there inside the little plastic housing or it is inside some shrink tubing. Part# 61-13-1-382-065. If you want you can use a piece of wire to temporarily replace the link but I stress this is temporary, please replace it with the correct part straight away. ♥
