Hey just recently on my 328ci I was just idling in front of my girlfriends house and I saw the temperature gage on my dash and it was fine but jumped up to the very hot end in about a 1 minute span because the next time I lookd up at it ( still parked haven't moved) it was buried all hte way to the right and the light was on.

I instantly turned the vehicle off. Waited a little bit, eventually the heat went back down to half, checked the radiator fluid it was completely full no leaks nothing. Now this happened yesterday and it does NOT happen when I'm driving (city driving). Think it may be the fan?

I was also reading that low clutch fluid might need a replacement of a clutch fan, could this be related. I know my clutch fluid is low because my engagement point changed, very soft clutch.

Thanks for the Help!

You have confused clutch syndrome. It is rare. Seriously though, the clutched fan for the cooling system and your pedal operated clutch are two distinct entities, let's not confuse them. The "overheating" problem with your car falls under the description of a bulletin (SIB11-11-06) for reflashing to correct this issue, replacement of hard parts would be non-productive, even if advised.
