Engine Performance problem
2004 BMW 325 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive 110, 00 miles

My wife got in her car this morning, and it would not start. It turns over, but it does not crank up. I checked your site for other problems like this, and when I sprayed brake cleaner into the intake, nothing happened. Please help.

If it cranks over and will not start, and you have tried brake clean in the intake without success, then the problem might be no spark. There is whats called an "E box" under the hood on the left side, just in front of the firewall/wiper tub. It has four Torx screws holding its cover on. In this box there is a fuseholder that holds four or five(I cant recall how many fuses, but it is the only one in there) Check and see if they are all good, one of them sends B+ to the coils. If you can remove a coil and see if it has spark, that might be the first thing to do. Where have you been taking the car for service?
