Hi,

i been having an issue with my car battery all of the sudden I am ready to leave to work and want to start up the engine and surprise death battery! I have noticed that when I turn off the car the ac won't turn off the lights are off but air still coming off when the car is completely off do you think the ac is the one causing the issue with the battery? I have checked the battery and it is in good standing something is causing it to go death or do you know if this issue can be involved with a sensor or any other electrical piece? And just one last thing do you think that battery issue had something to do with my key less remote control has programmed?

for what I know some controls of several cars can be reprogrammed with out have to go to the dealership, do you know if on this car model ho the control can be reprogrammed?

i really appreciate your help and information

Thanks a lot.

The air flow through the vents after the key is off is due to the fan motors final stage failure. Replace the final stage with part# 64-11-8-385-549, this module is installed in the air stream in the heater box and you will need to remove the glove box and carpet trim to gain access. As to the key failure, the key(s) need to be reinitialized. Procedure is as follows, get in the drivers seat and close the door, put the key in the ignition and turn it to the KL-15 position (key on but do not start) then turn the key off and remove it, then hold the unlock button down while you push the lock button three times, the door locks should all then lock and then unlock, repeat the procedure with the second key and you should have keyless entry function again.

You may have another issue in the central locking if the keys will not initialize.
