Transmission problem

i had a previous post but here is my best explanation of the problem.my clutch pedal was working fine until one day it went to the floor and wont return on its own.i tried bleeding the slave cyl but that didn't work. the clutch stays engaged even if i pull the pedal up with my hands. to move the car i have to start it in gear. on the clutch master cyl i can see that maybe there was a lick but when i pump the pedal i do no see any fluid coming out. can someone please help me? i want to know if the problem is simply one of the cylinders i.e the master or the slave? thank you very much
