Air Conditioning problem
2000 BMW 323 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 104000 miles
The air conditioner continues to work....so far.....and blows cold air, however, it will blow HI or LOW intermittently, and the controls on the dash oftentimes do not seem to change that. It will be set on a lower setting, and all of a sudden you will be getting blasted with cold air and vice versa. Also, when the car is turned off, key removed from the ignition, the air will continue to blow, sometimes for several minutes. What's going on?!?

The final stage module that controls fan speed is faulty and will require replacement. 64-11-6-920-365 is the part number. Realoem.com has it for $125.55. It is called a final stage unit.
