Hi experts, hope all is well

I have just bought 2001 2 door 318 bmw. Steering feels dangerously light and I get a steering wobble around the 80mph mark. Also when turning no feedback from steering to the the extent that it 'feels' like the front wheels are going to fold under the car. I did notice that the front left tyre is considerably more worn than the front right but dont think should make such a dramatic difference to what I believe is normally a very stable model. Any advice much appreciated

What was the outcome of the pre-purchase inspection, did it show up there? Worn tires can cause vibration at speed.

Unfortunately there was no pre - inspection, I only took it for a short test drive and didnt notice at that point. Could replacing the wheel also stiffen the sterering?

Hi

I was referring to replacing the front left (when sat in drivers seat) tyre as this is considerably more worn than the right tyre?

Tire replacement could solve your problem, replace as a set and remember, your life is riding on the tires, dont go cheap here.
