1996 BMW 318 Repair Question

My car will not start when i turn the ingnitio
Engine Mechanical problem
1996 BMW 318 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 148000 miles
When i turn my car on i get all power ( air conditioning, lights, radio, etc..) but my car will not turn over. I went and had my battery check, even though i knew it wasnt that and it was fine, however i cannot get my car to turn over. Before it would give me some problems with turing over but after some time, and some jumps it would not it wont budge. Please help me out thanks.
