I have a 1994 BMW 318i it was running fine, a 11/2 yr ago i parked it, now i dicided to drive it again, the battery was dead , replaced it also replace the 2 small fuel injection hoses, they were brittle about 2-21/2 " in length, check started, had it tested it was OK! checked plugs, there firing! but still it will not start, what else could be the problem? is there something else that i should check, or need to do ? any suggestions or comments appreciated. Thanks!

The fuel pump may well have lost its life. Check fuel pressure and delivery. Spray some brake clean in the intake to see if it runs briefly on the spray. Take up the rear set bottom and beat on the top of the right side access port, that's where the fuel pump is, sometimes they come back to life.
