1999 Audi A8 power windows
Electrical problem
1999 Audi A8 V8 All Wheel Drive Automatic 147000 miles
My rear view mirror broke and I needed to repair it. It is auto dim and I had to cut the wires. After resplicing ... my windows and sunroof quit working. I then disconnected the battery reset the processor and still nothing. The fuses seem to be ok. The manual states these two and the power seats are self resetting one the condition is fixed. The power seats never failed.... also the radio is stuck in safemode!!!

Thank you for the donation.
From the symptoms, all the problems could be related and the item common to all of the components is the CentralLocking/AlarmSystem/Interior Light Delay Module.
I could not find any additional information on what it does to the power windows, radio and sunroof and to retrieve for trouble codes a speial scanner is required.
