I have an Audi A4 1.8T 2002 model with about 190,000 km on it. I don't even know where to begin or how to explain it but i will try my best. starting up the car is fine with no problems, no idling shaking or any of that sorts, its when i press on the gas pedal. its fine till before the 20-30 km/h mark once after that the rpm's redline and the car is still at a constant speed so there is no acceleration. even when i press hard on the gas, the RPM's still rev's with no increase or spike in speed. i don't know if it could be a power loss or its an old model or even the turbo isn't functioning. Any help would be greatly appreciated because i don't want this to later become a huge disaster if lets say i go somewhere on a road trip with the family and then it breaks down and stuff... Thanks guys!!!

Your description leads me to believe that you have a major slippage problem in the transmission.

You should have the transmission fluid level and condition checked by shop that works on VW/Audi. A VW/Audi scan tool is required to do the job properly.
