I did the timing on my '98 audi a4 2.8 quattro while replacing the waterpump, after which the car would not start. It would crank but not fire up. Have triple checked the timing and since done a leak down test, believing that it might have had a bent valve. Everything seems to be in order, just wont fire?

Hi there,

Check for spark, injection pulse and fuel pressure first report back your findings.

Spark okay, fuel pressure okay, didn't check the injection pulse, but hooked car up to code reader and a code for throttle position controller malfunction came up.
