Cv halfshaft repair
Drive Train Axles Bearings problem
1990 Audi 80 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 230000 miles
my drivers side halfshaft broke and i attempted to replace it. After taking off old halfshaft, my uncle told me to turn the passenger side tire(not sure why) the tire is now locked in place. I put the new halfshaft in, and both tires are froze up. The car wont even move in neutral. Its like the tranny or something is engaged. Im lost and unsure what to do . Any suggestions. please.

check your shifter to transmission cables, if they are stock the rubber can dry rot and go bad. But maybe your rotors rusted on to your brake shoes.
