Antifreeze added to engine oil

A friend I lent my car to poured antifreeze in the oil.

Good afternoon,

You will need to drain the oil and filter and add new. Then run the car for about one hour and repeat the process to be sure all the coolant is out of the system. Otherwise you will damage the main and rod bearings.

By running the car for an hour do you mean drive it for an hour or just let it run in the driveway? I have already had the oil drained and new added as well as a new filter. So I need to do that again, after I run it? I am a 75 year old woman, but I can do this with the correct instruction. I thank you for your assistance. What a great site this is.

Yes, you can let it idle.

Then you replace the oil and filter again.
