I believe I smoked my diodes in my alternator when remote-starting the car. It started slowly, and then I smelled burnt electronics when I approached the car. Charging System Light is on. Battery read 12.1V when car was not on. After starting, I am reading 11.7V. Bad alternator! Any helpful hints for the removal and replacement process? Many Thanks!
