Windows would go down on their own sometimes will driving or after sitting for a whlie. Alarm and power locks work fine. They would go back up using inside controls or external key function. Now I cant get them to go back up at all using either function. Need some trouble shooting assistance.. There is no fuse labaled for that function. Motors are not engaging at all

Found it myself it was a thermal relay on the top part of the fuse panel pluged into unit #14 you have to look above the coloured fuses. Vw dealers didnt want to say. It found out by trouble shooting my self. That was the cause for the no power to the windows. The random up and down of the windows I traced to the micro switches in the door lok units. One gets faulty it can send bad signals to the rest. This yeasr the windows and alarm can be activated buy the external key operation, when this is done the micro switch is the senser of the info. You can replace them seperate from the lok mech. Also checked the wirring between the body and the doors, inside the rubber boot and found some cracked plastic coating with bare wire exposed, was not the problem but caught it in time, thicker yellow with red stripe is the main feed, you can check useing a test light hooked up to grong
