My 94 Cura Integra has 83500 miles, Ive had it a year and a half, and since ive had it it always starts cold and revs at 2000 rpms for about five minutes before it is ok to put it into gear. I had new wires and plugs put in. The radiator always reads at or near Cold even while driving for a while. The car runs fine its just a pain to have to wait five minutes ever time i want to put it in gear, do you have any ideas? Is this a a real problem or anything to be concerned with?

Sounds like a bad coolant temperature sensor. It is located near the t-stat and has two wires. Good luck

Might be time for a new thermostat. They are pretty cheap (even from the dealer) and "usually" pretty easy to replace.

Also, as losone has stated, I'd checkout the coolant temp sensor.

hope this helps
