When I start my truck the starter will continue to run in the ignition run position. wWhen I try to turn of the ignition the engine and starter continue to run. I have to jump out and remove the neg batt cable. When I reconnect the cable it will start O.K.
This does not happen all the time. I've replaced the starter switch and relay and this still happens sometimes. Could they have been faulty or is there a short somewhere? Help I'm getting tired of jumping.

1. ok i need to ask two question is it tilt steering wheel ?
2. is the switch kinda hard to turn over or reall sticky.
if so you are going to have to pull the steering wheel and a few other things and you need a couple special tools to do this .if the answer to the two questions above are yes. take it to a shop you will be money ahead and you will still have your hair caue if you try this yourself you won't like it.(NOS)
