hi we have an iveco 35s i think and the o/s pads wear down in 3 weeks is it the caliper siezing or master cyclinder problem

Hi
What you describe is either caliper siezing but you should have noticed this on pad replacement because piston would be hard to push back. Other thing is the sliding caliper assembly sand and lube slide points also the guide pins/bolts check for wear and lube.

Hi there,
Thats good advice from docfixit, the only thing i wish to add is that you can check for residual line pressure, go for a drive and get the brakes hot, crack a bleeder nipple and see if you get any more than a dribble, there should be no pressure, if so you may have faulty restricted brake hoses or insufficient pedal free play.
