I have three issues.

1. The heater does not switch from defrost to vents.

2. The fans for the heaer works when it feels lik it. It was working at full blast them it would only work at 3/4 blast now it works at 3/4 the blast when ever it fells like it.

3. The auto lock does nt alow the driver to get out of the vn. You have to roll down the window and open it from the out side and them roll the unidow up. I tried to disengage the auto lock but stiil not working.

Thnak you for all your help

1- the switch could be the problem, but more than likely it's a actuator gone bad. It moves the blender doors in the heater box.

2- more than likely the resistor for the blower motor.

3- you'll need to replace the switch for the door lock. That should take care of that problem. Hope the info helps

The vents. Check the vacuum source under the hood. It is a cheap plastic line that breaks all the time, they go to defrost when there is no vacuum to run the doors

I checked the vacuum for the vents and a animal got into the van and chewed the line in three different place close to the vent contol knob. Whats the easiest way to fix the line?

I checked the switch and it is getting power. Is there any way to test the switch. I want to be sure the switch is bad before I shell out $238.00.

Thank you for yor help.

I usually replace it from source to the check valve. Once that plastic gets old, you will be chasing breaks in it forever. As far as th eblower motor, be sure it has power and ground when it isnt working and. New motor
