My van's heater has been acting up, it will work one day and then just blow cold air the next. The temp guage was working just fine not running hot or anything. Just recently it has started to register hot while running at a stop. I was thinking it might be the thermostat and wanted to replace it but my manual doesnt show me where it is located. Am I on the right track and can you tell me where to find it?

many thanks :roll

If your van has the 3100 or the 3400 the thermostat is at the back (driver side )of the intake follow the upper radiator hose the thermostat housing is in between the cross over pipe for the exaust and the engine it has two 13mm head bolts attaching it
