About 2 weeks ago my RPM gauge would start out ok when I started to engine and then sometimes it would jump all the way into the red. The engine sounds normal and if I would turn the car off and then restart it the gauge would go back to normal. Also about 2 weeks ago once in a while when I would stop, the engine would stop. I would start it right back up. Would this be a bad sensor?

Thanks, Mark

Is or has the check engine light come on? As far as the stalling. Did it shut off or sputter out like it ran out of gas? Has it ever been tuned up? Throttle bore decoked?

My check engine light has been on for awhile because of a emissions conctrol sensor, so I don't know if there is more than one reason. The engine just stops with no indication. It has been awhile that I had a tune up.

I just went to Pep Boys and they read the codes. They were:
101- Mass Flow Sensor
385 - Crank Position Sensor
410 - Sending Air Injection System
