My 2000 Astro bogs when you accelerate. Fuel pressure is good (58 lbs.) Fuel filter has been changed. The strange thing about this problem is that the car runs fine when the mass airflow sensor is disconnected. Although it does shift very hard between first and second when you drive it with the mass airflow sensor disconnected. I changed the sensor and the problem remains the same. Runs with it disconnected bogs when connected. When I say bogs I mean severely bogs. The car will barely reach 35 miles per hour. Help! Couple more things. Only 33000 miles on car. Fuel pump also has been changed. Temperature sensor has been checked and is working. Also problem gets much worse when engine warms up.

For those who may have this same problem-I finally caved in and brought the car into the dealer. Problem-Clogged pipe in the catalytic converter. The good news is that the converter was under warranty for 80,000 miles. No charge. I never would have guessed it with only 33,000 miles.
