I live in Colorado and my expedition won't start if the temp gets too low. If it is outside for more than 4-5 hours below 20 degrees, it won't start. The battery is strong and the engine will turn over until the battery dies, but it won't start. It has the 5.4 triton v8 and I have tried an additive to get rid of any water in the fuel system and it hasn't helped. Any Suggestions? Thanks

If the engine is okay-when it refuses to start check for spark and fuel one of this is missing.

In todays auto-the coolant temperature sensor takes the place of a Choke. This one tells the computer how much fuel is needed to start a cold engine during the open loop-by increasing the pulse width on the injectors.
