My battery was 7 years old and finally went. I bought a new battery and it is smaller than the old one. How should I go about getting it to sit under the adjustable support? The front of the support is a non adjustable bolt, the back is adjustable but is all the way down. The battery is still loose. Thanks to whoever can help me.

If the battery is smaller, you should check to see if tthe ampere hours is enough for your car. Most full size cars require 100 amp batteries. If you use a battery too small you risk doing a lot of damage to your car.
