I have a 1998 f250 4 wheel auto 109000, but have 1300 on new power pro 2000 motor. When testing timing with spout conn out, car in drive, timing varies from 10 dbdc by 5 degree. I have no power and motor rattles. I will gladly donate if you guys are usefull, but I have internet trust issues.

I'm not familiar with that engine. Is the timing adjustable or does the computer control timing. If the timing is adjustable, did you try adjusting it? You say it's 5 degrees off but you didn't say if you tried adjusting the distributor. Need more info.

Sorry for lack of info, anyway it is 4.6l computer control ignition. Starting to question if it might be fuel pump or regulator?
