1991 300SE has slight oil and coolant leaks -- a few drops each day. It appears to be coming from the rear of the block on the passenger side where some kind of line enters, but I'm not sure of the true origin of the leak. There's also a small bracket associated with that line that is broken. I'm also seeing some oil in the coolant, but no coolant in the oil. Car runs great otherwise except for some oil smoke underneath where the oil leak is hitting the exhaust. Ideas? O-ring & bracket repair for the mysterious line; head gasket;?

I have the same problem my 1995 C280

I had oil leaks on the timing chain cover and from the oil pan Cover. Also the water pump needed replacement. Mercedes-Benz quality-control it leaves a lot to be desired. They are simply not as good a car as they would like to have us believe.
