my car is a 4dr, 2.5L 4cyl, automatic, a/c, am/fm radio no cd nor cassette, electric windows and locks, tilt steering
when I was at an intersection car just died - tried to restart and starter wudnt even click as if the solenoid was dead but started just fine last time I started engine - all other things function just fine - checked lights, turn signals, all fuses, relays and wire connections and cudnt find anything that appeared to be the problem at least with a visual inspection

any further ideas on what to check for wud be appreciated as I am at a loss for what cud be wrong with said car - thanks for any help

ok, I tried that old dodge trick but it didnt get the starter to function - the starter was strong on its last starting of the engine - I was sitting at a light idling waiting for the light to turn green when engine just quit and I cud not get starter to engage after that - the engine stuff is the only part of the car I cannot get to function at this time - everything else works just fine which is puzzling - the battery has a dummy indicator which is green, white or red and it shows very green right now, lights all work, radio works, windows and locks work, lighter socket even works on this old ride

if anyone has any further things I cud try or check wud be much appreciated - thanks
