Have a1986 pulsar 1.3 with 150000. Car died going down street. Getting spark, installed new mechanical fuel pump and new fuel filter. Still no fuel. Where do I skin my knuckles next?

Better inspect the camshaft lobe-for no fuel. Or the timing belt/chain. Check the distributor rotor if its spinning while cranking.

I had an 86 Pulsar and had the same thing happen. Was going down the road and all of a sudden it stalled. The vehicle would not start at all. Had it to the Nissan dealer and it happened to be the computer module located under the driver's seat. You may want to check that.
