I have a 1970 Datsun 1600. I have only had it about a year. I noticed about a month ago that when I turned the key in the ignition to start the car it would make an angry noise. As if I was turning a key in an already running car. Then today I drove it to work. When I got back in the car to come home I turned the key and nothing. No sound, no clicking, no engine trying to turn over. I turned on my radio and lights and they were strong.

I opened the hood and tried to trace the wires, got back in the car turned the key and it the engine started right up. What gives.

Where should I look at in the light of day to find my culprite.

Any help would be great.
