Electrical problem
1969 Questions for all other cars V8
For the last several months, my amp meter would show my car charging off and on, for what seemed like no reason. There are no loose wires, and I had to replace my alternator in the midst of this happening and it didn't stop.
Now it is no longer charging. Any idea why?

Hi pushmonk,
For vehicles of that era, the alternator most probably does not have an inbuilt voltage regulator and you should check the voltage regulator for fault.
