I have a 1953 Kaiser Manhattan. I started the car one day, it sounded fine, ran fine and then the next day it would not start at all. This has happened twice. It had some old gas in it and was low so I added about 4 gallons of premium gas to it. Try to start, the starter cranks and flywheel turns, but the engine does not fire up? If I keep trying to start the battery eventually loses juice. Before when the engine started, it fired right up and ran great.

Do you hear the fuel pump run when you turn key on if so check fuel pressure at carb if no fuel at carb than check for dirt in tank and/or fuel filter if you have fuel check for spark at plugs useing a test plug (they are cheep at parts store) if no spark pull dist. Cap and see if rotor is turning if turning check compression if good compression check timing
Ignition timing:
*Set point gap at.020
*Crank engine until #1 piston is up on the
compression stroke
*Loosen distributor and advance or retard as
required
*Set at 4th line before "O" on vibration damper
at 425-450 RPM
*Distributor vacuum hose disconnected & plugged
