1996 All Other Makes Repair Question

96 grand cherokee v8 wont start
Milage: 116k Started it to warm it up, ran about 10 minutes then died with no warning. There is no spark from the coil, can hear fuel pump, has trigger power to the coil but no constant power to relay. Diagnostic codes were 12-45-55. Disconnected battery overnight to charge, after reconnecting codes were 12-55. gauge on dash has battery at 12v until trying to start then gauge drops to 8-9v. Please help!

If you are sure battery is good, check ground @ engine block. Connection may appear to be good, but most people assume it is a positive problem when in fact it is a ground fault. Remove ground from block, scuff up really good, and try again.

Can't find code 12 or 55- 45 is trans code.
