Alarm has been going off several times a day and night

Hi,

I have had a local car electrician try to rectify the problem with no success. He suggested taking it to the main Seat dealer but apparently to diagnose would be very costly.
Can the alarm be disconnected? I think that could be the only option I could afford.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

There is a fuse located in the fuse box under the dash that controls the alarm.
Removing the fuse should turn off the alarm.
It should be number 44, a 5A fuse.

I have attached a picture for your reference.

Looked in Fuse box the fuse 44 to the right of the box is 25amp and is a grey color.
The smaller fuses on the left are grey and orange and fuses 9, 18, 22 are 5-amp.

Since Seat is not sold in the USA, I don't have specific technical information. However, it should be number 44. You can pull the fuse and see if that takes care of the alarm. Be sure that the vehicle is off before pulling the fuse.
