I had an accident.
The right side airbag has activated.
Now I have a fault light on the panel and I'm wondering if the rest airbags are functioning?
Should I replace all airbags for the new ones or I could replace the activated right side airbag only? For me, it's okay if I could run without a side airbag.

Thank you fin advance.

Sorry about the accident. There should be a code stored that will tell you which parts are at fault. Normally you would replace the air bag module and the sensor which fired the bag and possibly a seat belt tensioner. The codes and diagnostics should show if those are the only items that need replacement however. Most of the low end scan tools will not read air bag codes though, you need one in the middle or so, or a dealer level scan tool. Then you could post the codes or most of the better tools will describe the issue.

You are welcome. It should give you a starting point as to what needs replacement.
