Vehicle usually restarts but lately hs been difficult to restart. During restart power comes up and then immeidately goes off. I replaced one battery terminal 6 months ago and some corrison is in place but again when vehicle is cold it always starts. Any ideas?

Can you explain to me how an ignition switch would call cr to stall after it is running?

The ignition switch is the main power switch for the engine and due to some defect in the design, it tends to lose contact intermittently, usually after heating up due to usage, and when this occurs, it would be as if the engine has been turned OFF.

When trying to start, the engine might start up but when the key is released, the engine would stall.

A few cranks might get the contact back in position and the engine would work well again.

It can fail under any driving conditions.
