Engine Mechanical problem
1996 Acura TL 6 cyl Automatic 181000 miles

i jsut noticed about a week or go my car gives off white smoke when I first start off and it gets less noticable in minutes but I still notices some coming out and then it kinda has a mechanical smell, like burning smell, but my temp is still below average and it has coolant in it and oil. I haven't changed my oil in 2 months. So it is past its due date for an oil change by 2 months. Does that have anything to do with it? If not what is going on?

I actually have the same problem. My issue is a split head gasket allowing coolant to seep into the engine through fissures in the gasket. There are a few reasons white smoke can come out. Condensation in the exhaust, usually disappears after starting. Fuel running rich while idling. Split head gasket or split head. Bad valves or valve seals.
Did your engine ever run hot?
