2005 Acura RL radio and dash screws

Interior problem
2005 Acura RL 6 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic 65k miles

I am trying to remove the disc changer from my dash but I cant get the radio out. I have removed all but one of the screws, the one I cant find is the one on the diagram that appears to be behind the 5 on the disc selector panel. How do I get to this screw? Thanks

Hi Zack,

Which screw are you referring to?

I am referring to the screw that goes directly in to the face of the radio unit, its directly above the letter A in the diagram. If you can see there are six small circles in the middle or the radio which are the six disc selection buttons and on the diagram the screw in question appears to go through what would be the 5th button. I tried like hell to pop that button out and I don't think it comes out.

Hi Zack,

From the illustration that I sent you, I believe you are mistaken.

There are no screws there. If you look carefully at the diagram, the screw is supposed to be in the back ground, it is a pair with the lowest bolt in the diagram. They are attached to the bracket behind the audio unit.

All together you have to remove 6 screws/bolts and not 5
