I had the following done to my 1998 Acura RL yesterday: fixed coolant leak/new hose for radiator, thermostat, fixed differential leak/new pinion gasket, new radiator cap- the parts were $117 and labor was $501. Is this accurate for the labor? The most expesive was $400 to replace the pinion gasket. Sorry if I did not explain correctly, I am not a car pro. Thanks for any info!

I have Chilton labor guide.
I can give how long it shoult take to do each repair you mentioned, but the problem is that each state, each town and each business, have their own price/ hour.
Ask the shop how much they charge per hours. I know sometime it is not on the receipts.
Her it is:
thermostat replace: time :1.2
Radiator hoses, uper and lower : time : 1.3
pinion shaft oil seal: 6.70
I think that price you pay for the labor is fair.
Because they are cheeper than me according to my state :-)
