Transmission problem
2001 Acura MDX 6 cyl Automatic 140000 miles

Our transmission was rebuilt but never has acted right. We have taken it back numerous times and they can't find any problems.
It surges or hits hard when it is cold or first ran. After it runs for about 10 miles, it runs fine.
The warning engine light was off after repair but now is back on again. They just clear the light and say that nothing is wrong.

Hi there,

This is just not right, go get the scan done when the light comes on, post the code here and I will tell you what it is, then go back to this mechanic with a demand that they fix this problem, it is there responsibly to do this if you have a warranty.
