1995 Acura Legend 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Hi, im not really that educated in the field of cars but ill try to explain this as best I could. I have this 1995 Acura Legand that has a little over 100k on it. It has sit in the garage for the past 5 years and I pulled it out a few days ago. It started after I replaced the battery but it sounded a little weird. I asked a friend of mine whos a mechanic to check it out and he just told me that one of the cylinders do not work as they should and that it doesn't go off properly. My question is how do I fix this problem and will it affect the cars performence alot if this problem goes unfixxed. Please post your replies. Thank you.

Hi there,

This will have to be fixed before you drive the car, first thing to do is get a compression test done, have a wet & dry test, this will show a possible stuck valve, also check for spark and injector pulse at the dead cyl. Start here.
