Hi,
I purchased a 94 Acura and it runs good, has a new radiator and overheats and leaks really bad. I had a mechanic look at it and the guy said that he is can do a head gasket maintance for $250 and that should temporarily solve the leakage problem temporarily (until end of this year).

When it is hot it overheats really fast and when it is cold it overheats maybe after i drive for about 40 minutes.

I wanted to know if anyone knows otherwise - that can help me. I don't know a lot about cars.

Thank you very much!

Hi webcar,

When any leakages occur, the coolant level would drop and overheating would occur after some driving.

You need to rectify the leakage and hope the head gasket had not been damaged yet.
