I have a 1988 acura integra legend, standard, 2door hatchback, very high mileage. I have replaced main relay, fuel pump, fuel filter, ignition. Thought it was OK after replacing main relay switch, but recently on a rainy day, acted the same as it did in hot weather.

It will crank but won't start. Everyone says "its flouded, but when I turn it over I don't give it gas until it actually turns over. I relaced the main relay last on the parts list, and thought the problem was solved (of course, weather was excellent fall, sunshine days). First time I tried to start it on a rainy day, it wouldn't start at all. I tried off/on all day and never turned over.

Weather has dried and yesterday, it started right up again.

What do you think. I can't schedule my life around the weather forecast.

thanks.

The best time to catch this culprit is when its on the act.

Disconnect a sparkplug wire and ground it to the engine while cranking it over at the same time be listening to the injector/s whether they're clicking-do you have spark and the injector/s clicking?

Also when you turn key to On position do you hear the fuel pump come On before you crank it over?

wet weather starting or stalling could point to the ignition coil as the problem. I would try that route
